Working with materials ranging from aluminum to tool steel, The Euclid Heat Treating Company offers batch and continuous hardening, carburizing, carbonitriding and ferritic nitro-carburizing services, as well as pit furnace hardening carburizing, nitriding and annealing. To accommodate our clients' diverse case hardening and through hardening needs, we have 7 batch ovens and 2 American Gas Furnace rotary retort continuous furnaces. We feature an Atmospheric hardening capacity of up to 33" outside diameter and up to 72" lengths, and a 72"X33"X36"" maximum part size. All our methods result in improved mechanical properties, increased hardness, and toughness of the alloy material. Using a Leeds and Northrop Homo Carb furnace, we can work with a variety of metals, including tool steels, stainless steels and carbon alloy steels. These types of furnaces can accommodate parts measuring up to 72" in length and 33" in diameter. In addition to our Leeds and Northrup Pit furnace, we offer two pit nitriders employing the SSI 9210 nitride control system which provides accurate nitride control and constant sampling to ensure nitride process control and data logging.
